Job Requirements

Our Clinical Research Coordinator will plan, direct, and coordinate clinical research studies in conjunction with the Medical Physician.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

What you’ll do:

Participates in the design of clinical studies, ensuring meaningful endpoints are captured for analysis
Contacts potential study participants, obtain agreements, and study director approvals
Collects appropriate medical history to ensure study participant eligibility
Reviews study objectives and study participant restrictions or limitations for the study
Collects data obtained from research in a systematic and organized manner
Monitors the study to ensure that it complies with protocols, is ethically conducted, and follows regulatory standards
Maintains research records of study activity, including case report forms, treatment records, or other regulatory forms as per FDA guidelines
Makes sure that all equipment and supplies needed for the study are in-stock and in good working order
Takes lead in monitoring IRB submission and review

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator is required
Knowledge of clinical research regulations and GCP guidelines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Dermatology Front Office Specialist

Job Requirements

Our Front Office Specialist is responsible for helping oversee daily front desk operations of multi-physician and multi-practice locations.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7:45AM – 5:00PM

What you’ll do:

Schedule patients for new/returning/follow-up appointments and provide all necessary information to prepare them for medical appointments and procedures. Initiates confirmation calls to patients to ensure the lowest possible no-show rate.
Check patients in and out
Collects co-payments at time of service, enters daily charges into the billing system, and maintains fee schedules
Verifies authorizations and accepts or transmits fax information for needed physician patient information
Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations for therapies, testing and specialist referrals.
Handle large call volumes
Enter patient health and insurance information
Works to credential providers and offices, and light bookkeeping as needed

Skills and Experience:

1 year of experience working in a Dermatology Front Office highly preferred
Billing experience preferred

Medical Assistant

Job Requirements

Our Clinic Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the clinic staff in front and back office settings. They provide a safe, knowledgeable, and professional care to all patients under the direction of provider and/or nurse and within their scope of practice.

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 7:45AM – 5:00PM

What you’ll do:

Room patients and assist provider as needed.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and clean
Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning, inventorying, and equipment checks.
Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for provider.
Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR
Reinforce doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results
Respond to patient and non-patient inquiries as necessary under provider direction
Assist in scheduling appointments and patient check out
Front office back-up greeting patients and collecting copays as necessary

Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum one-year experience as an MA is preferred
Certified as a Medical Assistant preferred
Dermatology experience preferred
Scribe experience preferred
