Dathan Hamann, MD, FAAD

Dathan Hamann, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and the medical director of Saguaro Dermatology and Contact Dermatitis Institute. He is also the Associate Program Director and a Core Faculty member at the HonorHealth Dermatology Residency in Phoenix, AZ. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He also serves on the board of the Phoenix Dermatology Society and is on the Education committee of the American Contact Dermatitis Society.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and his medical degree at the University of Arizona, he did his dermatology residency at The Ohio State University where he also served as the Chief Resident of Research. He is the co-author of textbook chapters on rubber allergy and metal allergy and he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. His primary clinical interests include complex medical dermatology and contact dermatitis.
